Inductive Metal Face Sensor w/ Extended Sensing - April 2012 |
Fargo Controls, Inc. is proud to introduce our new Inductive Metal Face Proximity Sensors with Extended Sensing Distance. These flush mount 8mm, 12mm and 18mm diameter inductive sensors have a one-piece stainless steel body that includes the sensing surface. This stainless steel body along with the extended range make these sensors well suited for very harsh environments. They have outstanding abrasion, impact and corrosion resistance. These sensors can reduce downtime and extend service life over sensors with plastic sensing surfaces. |
Miniature inductive Sensor w/ Extended Sensing - February 2012 |
Fargo Controls, Inc. is proud to introduce our new Miniature Inductive Sensors with extended sensing distance. Their small size and increased sensing range allows them to be used in applications where other inductive sensors will not work. These small inductive sensors are available in 3mm, 4mm & 5mm diameter stainless steel housings. Despite their space saving size, they still have short circuit protection and a LED indicator |
Extreme Range Inductive Sensors - September 2011 |
These sensors offer some of the highest sensing distances in the industry industry. The semi-flush mount 8mm & 12 mm diameters offer 4mm & 8mm operating distances respectively. These distances are 4 times that of standard sensors. The 30mm diameter version offers a 50mm operating distance as well as a sensitivity adjustment for this unshielded unit. |
Heavy duty length measuring counters - March 2011 |
Fargo Controls, Inc. is pleased to announce 3 new Heavy duty length measuring counters. They records length in feet and inches, yards or meters and includes two rubber wheels. They reset easily with a push button. |
Capacitive Sensors - Low Profile - March 2010 |
Fargo Controls, Inc. is pleased to announce two new Low Profile Capacitive Proximity Sensors with exceptional pricing. These new models have a height of only 0.68” (17.5mm). Their small size allows them to be used in tight spaces where typical capacitive sensor cannot fit. These new versions come in a small cylindrical plastic housing, have a sensitivity adjustment, and both normally open and normally closed outputs. Capacitive sensors are used to detect metal and non-metal objects (liquid, plastic, paper, glass, wood, etc). |
Photoelectric Sensors - Small Rectangular - April 2009 |
Fargo Controls, Inc. is pleased to announce two new Diffused Photoelectric Proximity Sensors with exceptional pricing. Diffused sensors use the light reflected directly off an object for detection. No reflectors or separate transmitter needed. These new models have a small size and an operating range of 50 cm, 19.69". They are in a rectangular plastic housing, have a sensitivity adjustment, and both normally open (light on) and normally closed (dark on) outputs. |
Multi-function Timer/Counter/Tachometer -February 2009 |
The TC series is a powerful 6-digit, multi-function programmable preset Timer/Counter/Tachometer with a communication interface. It has RS-232, RS-485, RS-422 serial communications, and supports Modbus protocol. This series can easily be connected to a PC for programming and logging of data. All this in one unit at a great price! |
Value Line Proximity Sensors at Great Prices - January 2009 |
Realizing the need for high quality, attractively priced proximity sensors for factory automation, Fargo Controls developed the new Value Line. This new line offers an appealing assortment of the most popular configurations of Inductive, Capacitive and Photoelectric sensors with exceptional pricing. Connector versions in the Value Line include the mating connector. Sensors starting as low as $15.50 each. |
120°C High Temperature Inductive Proximity Sensors - September 2007 |
Fargo Controls, Inc. is pleased to announce two new 120°C (248°F) High Temperature Inductive Proximity Sensors. These new models operate from -25° up to 120°C (-13° to 248°F), which is 50°C (90°F) higher than standard sensors. These new versions are available in 5 and 8 mm diameters, have short circuit and reverse polarity protection as well as an increased maximum switching current over previous versions. They are totally sealed in a cylindrical threaded stainless steel housing making them ideal for harsh industrial environments. They are also shielded allowing for flush mounting. |
Capacitive Proximity Sensors with Programmable Output - July 2007 |
Fargo Controls, Inc. is pleased to offer a unique normally open / normally closed selector switch on its 2-wire AC/DC 30mm capacitive sensors. This combination of output and voltages greatly reduces the need to stock separate models. These models are also not polarity sensitive so there is no complicated wiring or a need to reverse wiring to change the output.
Capacitive sensors are used to detect metal and non-metal objects (liquid, plastic, paper, glass, wood, etc). These sensors are ideal for non-contact liquid or solid level detection, sensing or counting of metallic and non-metallic objects in the following types of machinery: production, packaging, wood working, paper preparation, plastic molding, food processing, etc. They are CE & RoHS compliant. |
